October 27th – 31st
29 rue d’Ulm (+ 45 rue d’Ulm / 24 rue Lhomond, see program for details)
The International Symposium in Metallomics, ISM-10 will be held at ENS-PSL (29 rue d’Ulm) from October 27 to 31st. We look forward to welcome more than 200 participants from more than 20 countries to discuss about metals in biology, environment and also the arts in the very location where the field metallomics finds its roots with the discovery of the essentiality of zinc-salts in the growing of a fungus. Omnipresent in biology, even though they are present in low concentrations, they are essential in biological systems: they actually modulate and assist many biological processes, yet they are often, and unfortunately, overlooked in biology and chemobiology studies.
