The third year of the pre-doctoral training is made of the validation of the second year in the Master of research in chemistry (M2).
Regarding the Paris-Centre Chemistry Master, it can be:
– One of the 4 standard courses : Analytical, Physical and Theoretical Chemistry (CAPT), Molecular Chemistry (MOL), Materials Chemistry (MAT) or Chemical Engineering (IC), with the possibility of combining courses from these routes.
– The second year of the Chemistry and Life Sciences course (CSDV)
The completion of another Master 2 is possible, but it has to be one that is a coherent project in connection with chemistry and requires the validation of the direction of studies. In case of an evolution towards other disciplines, it is necessary to consult the department that can be associated.
For the student that wish it, and requiring an admission, the preparation for the competitive examination for the aggregation in physics and chemistry, option chemistry is generally done between the second (DENS 2A) and the third year (DENS 3A) of the predoctoral course. Other configurations are available but they require the validation of the direction of studies.
