Basic electrochemistry
General characteristics of electron transfer at an interface.A description of the electrode-solution interface is proposed before discussing the dynamics of charge transfer. The aim is to understand the kinetics of these interface reactions by relying on the theory of activated complexes.
Electron transfer and mass transport
The fundamental concepts of electrochemistry are treated in order to be able to approach the main techniques used in stationary and then transient regime. Their characteristics are systematically demonstrated by the resolution of the transport equations and the kinetic equations associated with the reaction mechanisms.
