Licence 3
The first year proposes courses on fundamental concepts and covers a broad spectrum of chemistry. It is primarily based on lectures, travaux dirigés (TD) and tutorials. In addition, it comprises two training periods of approximately one month each in research laboratories.

The following subjects have been offered : BIO2 : Biology for chemists and PHYS1: Lasers and applications. At the request of the students, subject to agreement of the committee overseeing the courses (direction des études), any UE can be replaced by another UE of similar scope that is offered at the ENS or at one of the affiliated universities.
